
The Summer of Love may technically refer to 1967 when over 100,000 people converged on to SF's Haight-Ashbury neighborhood, but it looks like there is a lot of LOVE in LA this summer.

Laurel Canyon Love Street Festival
The Laurel Canyon Love Street Festival is a community block party in the Laurel Canyon section of LA on Love Street. The festival is held this year on July 6th and will feature live music, pizza, beer and wine, arts and crafts, pet adoptions, face painting, a tie-dye booth and more.
Ladies and Gentlemen … the Beatles
This exhibit at the Grammy Museum commemorates the 50th anniversary of the arrival of the Fab Four and their introduction on the Ed Sullivan Show. The exhibit has over 400 pieces of memorabilia, recordings, videos, and photos.
The museum is open Mon-Fri 10:30am to 6:30pm; Sat-Sun 10am to 6:30pm

Ringo Starr's Peace & Love Birthday
Celebrate Ringo Starr's birthday outside the Capitol Records building at 1750 Vine Street. The event starts at 11:20 and will include a peace sign salute at noon and live performances.
