The holidays can be complicated and stressful. Particularly if you are parent who is trying to make everything perfect for your kids. In this week’s blog we have an assortment of Halloween tips ranging from decorating, to props, to safety. Let’s have a quick look at a few ways to make this holiday the spookiest Halloween ever.
Pumpkin punch bowl: why not make a Jack-O-Lantern punch bowl for your kids to use? This is a project the little ones will love. Simply cut a large pumpkin in half and clean it out as much as possible. Next place your pumpkin bowl inside (be sure it’s not visible a few feet away) and pour some punch inside.
Reflective tape: safety is the most important thing on Halloween. If your kids will be trick-or-treating make sure they remain visible by wearing reflective tape. Halloween is dark and most people are still coming home from work. So always stay aware of oncoming traffic.
Decorate your door: if you do not have time to decorate your entire house, just decorate the door. You can turn it into a mummy with gauze and googly eyes. You can turn it into a monster by placing teeth under the doorway and eyes above it. Young trick-or-treaters will love this.
