Halloween is almost here, the night when things go bump in the dark and jack-o-lanterns light the sky, witches fly on their broom sticks and ghosts and ghouls haunt. Here are some fun facts about Halloween.

1) The first Jack-O-Lantern was made out of a turnip and not a pumpkin!
2) LA hosts the Rise of the Jack-O-Lantern with over 5,000 hand carved pumpkins, but the record goes to Keene, NH when at their Pumpkin festival in 2013 they set the record with 30,581 lit pumpkins.
