Going to a Halloween party or just want to scare your friends and neighbors then head to Westfield Topanga’s Make Up Forever and let them help you with your Halloween make up.

Want some pointers on fall and Halloween cooking, look no further than Sur la Table at the mall.  On Tuesday October 27th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm you can learn to cook up Vegetarian Fall Favorites.  You will discover the inner chef in you as you learn how to prepare autumn fruit and vegetables by roasting or poaching, plus your chef will teach you how to create your own spicy vegetarian risotto.  $69 per person 18 and up.

On Saturday from 10:00 am to noon, you and your family can learn how to create Family Fun spooky treats.  Kids and adults will make cookies, cupcakes and my favorite, whoopie pies.  Learn decorating tips and chef secrets.  The cost is $45 per person.

Looking for something a little more sweet and a little less spooky this Halloween, the Sur La Table is offering a Date Night Fall Harvest Feast class on the 31st from 6:30 to 8:30.  You and  your special someone will love this hands-on class where you will celebrate fall’s harvest using fresh, seasonal produce.  Learn roasting techniques, how to caramelize veggies and how to create one of the 5 mother sauces “bechamel”. With Thanksgiving and pie season right around the corner, you will be able to show off this year when you use your newly formed pie dough skills.

William Sonoma will be offering free classes this 25th for kids and adults.  Learn how to make chili, cornbread and pumpkin cupcakes.  The event takes place outside of WS at noon on Sunday.
