Spring is almost over and warm, (OK, hot) weather is right around the corner.  While the weather is still pleasant, why not do some spring cleaning in your Valley Village apartment so you can head to the beach or mountains this summer!

Cleaning Supplies – The first place to start with your cleaning supplies.  Throw out supplies that you haven't used in a while or consolidate bottles of cleaning spray.  Purchase supplies that you don't have and purchase a bucket or a container to carry your supplies from room to room. 

Look Up –  Each week you pick or tidy up your apartment, but it has probably been a while since you have looked in corners, on top or doors, window sashes, shelves, ceiling fans, and other high spots.  Get out your duster or vacuum attachment and get those hard to reach areas clean.

Look Down – Spring is a good time to look down and clean the baseboards and hard to reach corners in your apartment.  Use a broom to clean corners or your vacuum attachment to get in to those forgotten areas.

Hidden Places – Furniture and electronics are a good place for dust bunnies to hide.  Move the furniture and sweep or vacuum these areas.  Remove the cushions from sofas and chairs and vacuum underneath.  You might just found that missing pair of glasses, some change, or even the remote!

Let the Summer Sun Shine In –    Clean your windows with a glass cleaner, vinegar and water and wipe down with a squeegee or newspaper.

Don't Forget Your Bed – The change of season is a good time to wash your bed linens, as well as blankets, comforters and pillows  While you are at it, shake out throw rugs and dust under the bed!
